Attention Students: Please pre-register for the networking event on March 18, 2013, by filling out the electronic form here. The deadline to pre-register is Thursday, March 14, 2013.

 

 

Networking Night at Manship is a great opportunity for students to mingle and get to know recruiters in the communications field, as well as search for internship and full-time job opportunities. Take advantage of this event as a means to expand your professional network!

 

This event is for Mass Comm and Pre-Mass Comm students only. Since the event will have a networking focus, not all organizations will be hiring. Since some organizations will be hiring, be sure to ask about open positions if you are in the job market. Use this event as an opportunity to learn more about the kinds of jobs available to students with mass communication backgrounds. This is the perfect opportunity to find out where your degree can take you, and how to get there.
 

If you are looking for a job, bring copies of your resume to share with the organizations that are hiring.

Do you need resume assistance? In preparation for Networking Night, LSU Career Services is holding a resume workshop exclusively for Mass Communication students. Join us and learn how to put your best foot forward through your resume.

 

 

Networking Night at Manship
Monday, March 18

Students studying advertising, journalism (broadcast and print), political communication or public relations will have the opportunity to visit with communications professionals. This is a great opportunity to learn about various organizations, build relationships with professionals in the communications field, and find out about internships and other job opportunities.

 

**You do not need to stay for the entire event; it is fine to arrive after 6:00p.m. This is a come-and-go event.**
